Manufacturing & Process

Here at Mastermind, we manufacture all of our e-liquids in our facility in London. This means all of our e-liquids are manufactured in the UK. Below you will see the manufacturing process to give you an insight into the journey your e-liquid will take before you purchase our brands or if you are brand looking to get your e-liquids manufactured. 

 

Ingredients

Our Mastermind mixologists use raw materials to create an e-liquid. They work hard to create new and complex flavours that set us apart from the market that is known for creating flavours that are similar leading brands. 

 

Base:

 All of our e-liquids consist for two main elements: Vegetable Glycerin(VG) and propylene glycol(PG). The ratio of these two main ingredients can vary, dependent on the desired outcome, such as freebase or nicotine salts. The most common blends you will see manufactured by us are 50/50 and 70/30

  • Flavour concentrates: Concentrates are added to create the flavour. These are blend that are not widely available, in order for us to protect our brand, but some flavour concentrates that are seen our popular e-liquids are also available, in order to make your own e-liquids 
  • Nicotine: Nicotine derives from tobacco leaves. Nicotine is the content n the UK and can only be sold between 0 and 20mg/ml. We also manufacture 30mg and 50mg for our Middle Eastern clients. 

 

Production:

A lot of our production process is carried out in our designated clean room that has been qualified to ISO standard, which is a controlled environment 

Procurement:

All of our e-liquids are manufactured n the UK. Our ingredients are sourced from within the UK and Europe. Most importantly our products have full traceability and  adhere to strict TPD regulations. You can be rest assured that we only use quality Ingredients that are sourced from reputable and certified parties. 

Weighing:

Each recipe has different weighing and mixtures, are adhered to each recipes. Throughout the process, our mixologists wear all necessary protective wear, such as Mask, hair covers and lab coats, in order to reduce the risk of contamination. 

Mixing:

The ingredients are then mixed manually by hand or through automation via machinery. 

Filling:

After the raw materials of the e-liquid has been mixed, the e-liquid is then poured into individual bottles.

Labelling:

Bottles are labelled in the last step of the manufacturing process and is crucial element, as this enables customers to identify individual ranges an d flavours, such as MX or ATV. The labels have all of the ingredients, regulations and compliance details to be traded in its respective market. They are also checked to ensure they are produced to a high standard. Then they are packaged in boxes ready to be stored in our warehouse and shipped out to customers all over the world. 

 

Quality control:

All of our products must go through important control testing. This starts from flavour testing, nicotine content testing, visual checks and composition analysis. This is all to ensure that we keep our e-liquids to a high standard ready to sold to the market. This also applies to our customers who will like us to manufacture their goods. 

The end product is a fully TPD compliant e-liquid that is labelled and sealed in a child-resistant cap
